Mike Gibson, Attorney at Law

Mike Gibson has been practicing law in Northwest Florida since 1989. He graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate with honors from Florida State University College of Law.

Mike was employed as an Assistant State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida from 1989-1992. During this period, he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Gibson has represented clients charged with crimes ranging from homicide to driving under the influence (DUI).

During the last 10 years, Mr. Gibson has represented business clients across banks and financial institutions, contractors, nursing homes and physicians.

In family law, Mike handles child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, and personal property disputes between parents and spouses.

Mike has also spent time litigating for victims in areas of malpractice, wrongful death and personal injury.

In 2002, Mike founded The Law Firm of Mike Gibson, P.A. to continue providing personal legal services to the community, with the firm’s eventual growth into Gibson and Jarvis, PA.

Mike is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court of the Northern District of Florida.
